Our Story
The Heart behind the Headboards

Honeysuckle Headboards was born from a lifelong love of craftsmanship and a passion for restoring furniture with care and character. My journey began with furniture restoration — learning the delicate art of French polishing and repair — before naturally progressing into the world of upholstery.

In 2009, I took my first formal steps, joining a recreational upholstery class at Buckinghamshire New University. That early spark led me to pursue the Association of Master Upholsterers and Soft Furnishers (AMUSF) qualification, studying first in Oxford and later at The British School of Upholstered Furniture. After moving to Somerset, I continued to develop my skills at the South West Upholstery School, where I found both inspiration and community.

When my corporate career came to a close, I saw the chance to turn my passion into a full-time career — and Honeysuckle Headboards came to life. Today, I design and create bespoke, handcrafted headboards and restore upholstered furniture using both traditional and modern techniques, always with attention to detail and a personal touch.

Thank you for supporting this journey. I look forward to helping you bring your interiors to life — beautifully, meaningfully, and made just for you.
